About Braemar

Established in 1952, Braemar has been offering aged care in Perth, Western Australia for over 65 years. As a values based organisation backed by the Presbyterian Church, you know you’re in good hands.

We focus on relationship centred care; which supports the relationships that exist and develop between staff, volunteers, residents and their families. This approach empowers Braemar residents to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Our care philosophy, combined with a passion to provide both care and friendship, means living at Braemar is an inclusive and engaging experience.

Relationship Approach

Braemar’s care team engage with our residents to find out what is important to them. We then work with the resident to develop a care plan for each person.

We operate three aged care facilities in the City of Melville and in the East Fremantle area; Braemar House, Braemar Village and Braemar Cooinda; while a fourth location in Bicton is flagged for regeneration and redevelopment.

At Braemar, our staff are committed to making our residents’ lives happy and enjoyable. We ensure that each resident knows that the team care about their needs and wants; and provide opportunities for ongoing feedback as well as regular resident and family meetings.

Each of our staff commit to uphold the Braemar values of Care and Friendship. These values underpin everything that we do, and stand for Commitment, Accountability, Respect, Empathy and Friendship.
