Spiritual & Emotional Care

We see spiritual care as a basic human right and all of our residents have access to effective spiritual care in a way that is meaningful to them.

Spiritual care at Braemar brings meaningful purpose and wholeness to assist our residents to flourish and grow and realise their potential in their time with us.

We host regular hymn services, singing activities and biblical enrichment at each of our facilities.

Other activities include Sunday Church Services, Christmas Services, Easter Services, ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day acknowledgement as well as one on one discussions with residents and families who require spiritual guidance.

Emotional Care

The ageing process can be a difficult experience emotionally. Having offered care to Western Australian citizens since 1952, we understand the apprehension that may preempt starting your life at a Braemar facility.

Our nurse managers and care staff are dedicated and compassionate people with experience in aged care. They lead a team of passionate aged care workers at each Braemar facility.

Each staff member undergoes extensive Braemar training. All are well versed in our care philosophy of relationship centred care. This approach puts the emotional well being of our residents at the forefront of everything we do.

Braemar also offer a complementary chaplaincy service which caters not only for religious and spiritual needs, but also the emotional and well being needs of our residents.
