BRAEMAR WELCOMES NEW CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Lyn Cattell Chief Operating OfficerBraemar Presbyterian Care is delighted to announce the promotion of Lyn Cattell to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer.

A registered General & Mental Health Nurse by profession, Ms Cattell has held a number of senior management roles in aged care across Western Australia, including Facility Manager at both Braemar Village and Braemar House.

Ms Cattell also graduated in the top 15 per cent of students when she undertook her Bachelor of Applied Science in Nursing at Curtin University.

Wayne Belcher (OAM), Chief Executive of Braemar, says he is delighted that Ms Cattell has accepted the new challenge, after being supported in her professional development and growth whilst working at Braemar.

“As Braemar adapts to the changing aged care landscape, I know that Lyn’s skill set in both clinical care and management will be a great asset at Braemar, and we are delighted that she has accepted the position of COO.”

Since 1952, Braemar Presbyterian Care has been offering care and friendship to the elderly in Western Australia. Braemar currently operates three residential care facilities, providing care and support to over 200 people. Braemar Care’s philosophy is one of Relationship Centred Care, which supports the relationships that exist and develop between staff, volunteers, residents and their families.
